New Command Car
The fire department recently put in service a new command car. It is a 2017 Chevy Tahoe. It was purchased off the state bid contract, was up fitted by PARR Public Safety, and graphics were done by Three Cord. The total cost of the project was $50,000. The new command car comes fully equipped with updated technology and the room needed to better serve the incident commander on emergency incidents. The new command car replaces a 2013 Ford Explorer. The Ford Explorer remains within the fire department and replaced a 2001 Chevy pickup truck.
