Cribs for Kids at the Henry County Health Department is a local program aimed to keep sleep-related infant deaths low. This program is offered to anyone pregnant or who has a child under 1 year old, is WIC eligible, and in need of a safe space for the child to sleep. 

On Monday December 4th from 8:30am-12pm the Henry County Health Department has partnered with the Napoleon Fire Department to conduct child car seat installation checks. We encourage you to have your child’s car seat checked at this free event here at the Napoleon Fire Department at 265 W Riverview Avenue.

On Saturday November 4th, 2017 Councilman Mires and Chief O’Brien spent the day at the Ohio Fire Academy for an event called “Feel the Heat”. Feel the Heat is a program that is put on by the Ohio Fire Academy and it is designed to help elected officials and administrators

The department recently purchased a 2018 crew cab GMC Sierra off the state bid contract.  The emergency lights and radios were installed by PARR Public Safety, and graphics were done by Three Cord. This truck replaces a 1997 Chevy single cab pickup.  The total cost of the project was $38,000.
