Clayton O’Brien was appointed Napoleon Fire & Rescue Fire Chief on April 20th 2015. He began his career as a volunteer firefighter for Delta Community Fire Department in 2005.
He then went on to work as a full-time firefighter/paramedic for the City of Fostoria until hired by the City of Napoleon in 2009.
He is a national and state certified paramedic, firefighter, inspector, and instructor in both fire and EMS. He is also a graduate of the Ohio Fire Academy Fire Officer Series.
He is a member of the International Association of Fire Chiefs, Ohio Fire Chiefs, Northwest Ohio Fire Chiefs, and Henry County Fire Chiefs.
