Dave started in the fire service right after high school in 2000. He has been with the City of Napoleon since July 1st, 2003 and was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in 2009. He was appointed as a full time firefighter/paramedic in 2015 and then promoted to the rank of Captain in 2016.

Since starting with the City of Napoleon Dave has obtained a State of Ohio firefighter II, Nationally Registered Paramedic, State Certified Fire and EMS Instructor, and multiple other specialized certifications.

He is in charge of the fire training for all the members of the department. The fire service has been a passion for Dave since he was a little boy, and he says he owes everything he has to it.

Dave met his wife Ashley through Napoleon Fire and Rescue in 2004 and has three perfect children, Carter, Jackson, and Allison.
