Tyler Reiser

Captain

Tyler started in the fire service as a volunteer member of Monroe Township Fire Department and Henry County South Joint EMS in 2015. He completed his training as a State of Ohio firefighter II and EMT-Basic at Hocking College. He then continued his education at Owens Community College to obtain his National Registry Paramedic certification and Associates of Applied Science degree in 2016.

Tyler became a part-time member of Napoleon Fire Department in June of 2015. He was appointed as a full-time firefighter/paramedic in September of 2016 and promoted to the rank of Captain in February of 2018.

Since starting with the City, Tyler has obtained his Fire Officer I/II, Haz-Mat Technician, and First Aid/CPR Instructor certifications. In addition, he is responsible for all EMS training for the department. Tyler and his wife Kara live south of Napoleon and are expecting their first child in March of 2019.
