Napoleon Fire and Rescue prides itself on the work that we do not only when we are called upon, but behind the scenes to be ready at a seconds notice. Our fire training program has come a long way over the years, and we see the sky as the limit to where we can go. Our members put in countless hours to make sure that the skills that we have learned over the years do not lapse.
We always keep an open mind on new techniques and ways of doing things that will not only make the job easier, but will provide a better service for the people that we are sworn to protect. Our Instructors are constantly attending seminars and updates to better themselves on the latest and greatest things coming down the line. We make every effort to not only train on pre-designated days, but also incorporate short daily trainings into our everyday routines.
Our department has adopted the use of Post Incident Analysis to help pinpoint the things that we not only do right, but to show us where we may need a more work. This helps the Training Bureau to develop training plans so we can fine tune our skills. With the addition of our new Training Facility, we will be able to do even more with our daily shift training, monthly training, host County trainings, and Certification Classes.
Our goal is to provide the best training possible, so when seconds count, we operate as a well-oiled machine.
